Originally a one-woman show, Sarah Riordan had been working as a real estate agent in Milwaukee for about 5 years when her husband, Tim, decided to quit his job working for the Milwaukee Bucks and become a licensed real estate himself. They had dreams of being husband and wife realtor partners and in the future possibly flipping houses. They decided to make a name for themselves, Riordan Real Estate, to stand out in the crowded real estate market. They enlisted Shelby Design Co to create a distinct, professional brand that would impress potential clients and colleagues. 

Shelby is a past client of Sarah, so we had personal experience with her friendly and easygoing approach to real estate. Throughout the branding process, we coined the idea of approachable luxury for their brand. We chose fonts, colors, and brand identity elements that all felt in line with this concept. We created messaging pieces to help express this, including their new tagline, “Honest support in your perfect home search”. We created many brand design elements and ensured they were diverse and flexible to use in many ways. Essential for realtors, we helped them create marketing collateral pieces including Canva social media templates, business cards, and yard signs. 

Since launching their new brand, Tim and Sarah Riordan have seen incredible success. They’re making bigger client deals than ever before. They’ve been recognized and awarded amongst their colleagues, and have expressed to us the tremendous confidence that has come from their professional branding. Their dream of flipping houses came true and they are in the process of putting their first flip back on the market.
